Grown in the rugged high country, the fleece of the Merino is regarded as the finest and softest wool of any sheep. Mother Nature has crafted a fibre that is excellent at regulating body temperature. Merino provides warmth, without overheating the wearer and also draws any moisture away from the skin. Like most wools, Merino contains lanolin which is a natural antibacterial.
These gloves are a cut above the rest, a blend of Merino, Possum and Silk for a luxurious feel similar to cashmere. The hollow core possum fibre traps air and warms it next to your skin for superior insulating properties, up to 55% warmer than wool alone, and light weight.
